In order to meet the stringent European Health and Safety regulations, Gallowglass commissioned wide ranging research to ensure that our staging meets the most rigid Health and Safety criteria throughout Europe.

The results mean that every piece of stock including decking, handrails, ramps, treads and multicouplers will meet the highest standards applicable in the events industry.

The Gallowglass staging business is now some 7 years old, and a proportion of our growth over that period has come from existing Gallowglass crew clients. But significantly it is from new jobs and new clients that the major development has come.

The majority of Gallowglass stages now revolve around the more complicated end of the spectrum. We currently construct multi-layered and tiered systems all over the UK and many of these stages are built on grass for a variety of festivals and other outdoor events.

These arenas are where the training of our elite staging crews really shows a difference. Once they have built a couple of complicated stages on grass, the Grosvenor House or QE11 Centre holds few perils.
