Gallowglass regularly hold first aid training in conjunction with First Aid training specialists.

...As part of the ongoing Health & Safety regime. To date 59 of our people have achieved qualification to Appointed Person level and 33 Crew Chiefs and Senior Crew Chiefs have passed their First Aid at Work (FAW) exams.

If you see a Crew Chief with a green cross on the sleeve of his Gallowglass T shirt then you're in luck. But there's no guarantee that you will get one of these unless you ask specifically for one.

You'll pay a premium for one of these boys to cover your First Aid responsibilities on site, but it is a far more cost effective solution to have him there to lead his crew rather than pay for an independent First aider, charging you by the day whilst you hope nothing goes wrong!
